Facility Tour

When entering our foyer you will notice our team’s recent work that has been accepted at regional, national and international conferences.

Our bright and spacious foyer is large enough to accommodate exhibition stands as well as registration and catering for courses. Within the foyer there are a number of comfortable chairs as well as a dining area for those all-important meal times.

3 Seminar Rooms

Our seminar rooms can be partitioned to make 3 individual seminar rooms that are suitable for meetings or smaller teachings;

or they can be opened out into one large room that could accommodate up to 65 people. Each seminar room is accommodated with a modern versatile audio visual system and can be set up in a variety of layouts that would benefit the learning environment.

Communications Rooms

Our communications room is equipped with large comfortable chairs which would be suitable for informal meetings, video conferencing or an ideal location for a faculty break room.

This room is the ideal set up for teaching human factor skills such as breaking bad news.

Simulated 4 bedded wards

Each four bedded ward has been fully equipped to look as realistic as possible and has been fitted with working call buttons and live gasses.

The wards can also be decorated accordingly, depending on which ward it is representing.

Both wards are fitted with SMOTS video recording equipment that benefits any courses running scenarios as it provides the opportunity for live feedback and to watch the videos back to comment on progress.

Multi-functional suites

Our multi-functional suites provide a large area that is suitable for the more practical sessions.

are designed similar to wet labs which make it ideal for any surgical skills courses that use animal tissue. Both suites are fitted with state of the art video recording equipment that benefits any courses running scenarios.

Operating Theatre

Our spacious Theatre room is fully equipped with live gases, alarms and theatre spotlights.

The room has been designed to look as realistic as possible for simulation benefit, including an operating table, rotating and movable operating lights and blackout blinds. The Theatre also features state of the art video recording equipment further benefiting courses.

Next door to the Theatre is a control room with one-way mirror glass so that facilitators may see into the theatre. This means candidates are not nerved by their presence, again benefiting learning outcomes.

Workshop

The workshop is in an ideal location for sanitary preparation of animal Meats when used on surgical courses.

The room is fully equipped to accommodate a large amount of animal tissue at one time as well as having a lot of storage space for moulage makeup.

Moulage is the art of creating mock injuries for the benefit of simulation scenarios.
